CHILDREN

Children are a blessing from the Lord and we are called to bring them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We take this very seriously at Calvary as we minister to children in a variety of ways, and are adding ministry opportunities as needed. 

Mission:  Our children’s ministry desires to lift up the name of Jesus, to teach the whole Word of God, and to position children to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ as both their Lord and Savior.

Vision:  We commit to training up children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, teaching them the Truth found in God’s Word, equipping them to go and make disciples, and positioning them as true worshippers who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.  We are committed to teaching Scripture in its’ entirety, thus nurturing the love relationship children have with their Savior, Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.   It is our desire to equip and release the children to minister in power as they have received the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to apply biblical truths on a daily basis.    We believe it is God’s desire for families to worship together, therefore we will purposefully teach the children scriptural truths of all aspects of praise and worship and position them to be worshippers who worship God in spirit and in truth.
